Spyware - a software that works on your computer to spy. A spy that gathers all the information and everything you typed in and send them to the spyware author. If you typed in something like your bank account, you are hacked.

Malware - a malicious software which disrupts the function of your computer system. Its a program intended for destroying the functionality of someone's computer.

Adware - a software that contains some irritating advertisements. Some cases may invites you to click on the links to generate revenue for the author. Some Adware is harmless, but most commonly comes with integrated spyware.

Shareware - is a free software, however it has a limited functionality. It is basically a trial basis of the original and paid software. It displays some good and promising features which will only work if you buy the product.

Freeware - it is a free software in the sense that you are not going to pay for the software. Some freewares would give you full functionality. You will only be made to choose and its either or. Either you will donate a little amount or not. But they would be happy if you send the author a bit of penny.

iAware - you should be aware of all the wares for the next day you might find your bank account empty.
